Resurrection Lutheran Church is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.
Pastor Phil Chaffee
Pastor
Pastor Phil was called to serve as Resurrection's Senior Pastor in October of 2023. Prior to that, he served as Pastor of Family of Christ Lutheran Church and as a vacancy Pastor for many years all in the Mid Michigan area.
The attributes that best describe Pastor Phil as a pastor are strong preaching and Bible Study.
He graduated from Concordia Lutheran Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 2015 in the Specialize Ministry Pastor program
Pastor Phil has been happily married for 40 years to his wife, Catherine. They have 5 children and 6 grandchildren
Benjamin Parkhurst
Audio/Visual Specialist
Ben has been apart of Resurrection for quite some time, he was part of the group that upgraded the church to have audio/visual systems, so he has a detailed understanding of how it all works together.
He is always open to learning about new ways to help improve the systems at Resurrection.
Ben has been happily married for 6 years to his wife, Brandy, and they have 2 children.
